Baan Phadthai, a famous restaurant from Bangkok, has just come to India! They opened a spot in Indiranagar, Bengaluru on August 5, 2025. You can find them at 2nd Floor, #3162, 60 feet, 12th Cross Rd, HAL 2nd Stage. It's a small place with only 30 seats, and they're open every day from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM and then again from 6:30 PM to 12:00 AM. They're bringing their amazing phad thai to the city, which won a Michelin Bib Gourmand, made with a special sauce that has 18 secret things inside.
Frederic Meyer, a French guy, started Baan Phadthai back in 2016. For six years straight, they've been noticed by the Michelin Guide in Bangkok. Here in Bengaluru, Rajesh Rebala, Vasu Pasham, and Sid Mewara are in charge. They're serving real Thai food such as Phad Thai Poo (with crab), spicy Larb Moo pork salad, and Tom Yum Crab Omelette. Plus, they have some things you don't see often, like Phad Phak Boong (morning glory with garlic). The inside is nice and modern, with light blue colors and Thai art, making it a cool place to chill and eat.
Meyer said that Bengaluru is perfect for Baan Phadthai because people here really like strong flavors. A meal for two costs around ₹1,800. People are already talking about it, and they're pretty much booked up until mid-September. If you want to try it go to www.baanphadthai.com to reserve a spot and taste some great Thai food right here in India!
