Nuvola Spirits gets ₹1.57 Crore to help Mikiamo Limoncello expand all over India.

Nuvola Spirits Pvt. Ltd., the company that created Mikiamo, India’s first Limoncello made locally, just got ₹1.57 crore in funding before a bigger Series A round, they said on August 22, 2025.

Nuvola Spirits, the folks who made India’s first local Limoncello called Mikiamo, announced on August 22, 2025, that they received ₹1.57 crore in funding. Big names in the alcohol business, like Ishwaraj Singh Bhatia (Co-Founder and COO of Simba Beer & ZigZag Vodka, with a 5.75% stake) and Suraj Awatramani (a top distributor in Maharashtra and Goa, with a 5% stake), are backing them. This money is a huge deal for Nuvola, as they have some serious growth plans.

Aakriti Kochhar Sachdeva and Raghav Sachdeva, who are married, started Nuvola Spirits in 2023. They kicked things off with Mikiamo Limoncello in Goa in May 2024. People loved it since it’s made using a real Italian recipe with lemons picked by hand from Italy and bottled in Goa. You can now find it in Delhi, Haryana, and Karnataka. By early 2026, they plan to launch in Punjab, Maharashtra, and even other countries! The funding will assist them spread out where they sell, improve their recipes, and create some other drinks.

Aakriti Kochhar Sachdeva said, We’re not just making a drink but sharing a taste of Italy with India. This money is going to assist us in getting Mikiamo out there. Mikiamo even got some prizes, including some at the 2025 London Spirits Competition.
