Raphael Bick Joins Mandarin Oriental as Chief Information Officer

Just got word that Raphael Bick is the new Chief Information Officer at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. He's joining the Executive Committee as they move forward with their plan to change things up and really kill it in 2025.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group just announced Raphael Bick as their new Chief Information Officer (CIO). He's joining the Executive Committee as they push forward with their plan to change things up and really max out their potential by 2025.

Raphael will report right to the Group CEO. He’s got 20+ years under his belt in tech, digital changes, and AI. He's known for getting stuff done when it comes to new ideas for big global brands in hotels, retail, etc. He’s built up tech teams all over Asia, so he’s in a good spot to lead Mandarin Oriental’s big push into tech and AI.

Raphael is all about new ideas and making things better for guests. He’ll be working to give everyone – guests and employees – amazing, easy, and personal experiences. He will really help lift up Mandarin Oriental’s tech setup and keep the brand on top of the luxury hotel world.

Originally from Germany, Raphael has worked all over – Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the US. He got his MBA from INSEAD in Singapore and will be working out of Mandarin Oriental’s main office in Hong Kong.
